MathBusters exploring collapsible solids
Last week, students in the MathBusters class created three dimensional cubes that can be folded and “collapsed” into a two dimensional square. They looked into the combination of shapes that allowed this and also completed some further research into the properties of three dimensional shapes and how they change as the shape is adjusted.
