If not, take a look at the new format. The library catalogue appears first and foremost while you are still able to search for the library resources. Then, the existence of the two boxes, ‘Library LibGuide’ and ‘Reading Matters’, can lead students to all the resources available to assist in their research, or take them on a reading excursion beyond comprehension.
The ‘Library LibGuide’ provides access to research material, newspapers online, databases, online presentation tools, e-books, ClickView visual material, and the ever growing list of LibGuides that is still being constructed. These guides are designed to assists students with research material for their particular subjects. The LibGuides are constantly being constructed and the collection of guides will eventually cover many aspects of a student’s curriculum at MacKillop.
‘Reading Matters’, on the other hand, presents an opportunity for students to explore new sources of varied, enjoyable and informative reading material online. Since not all students like to read make-believe in paper format, ‘Reading Matters’ is a rich alternative for any student to access.
The Library is a constantly adding to their pool of material and resources to assist the students in their studies; it is well worth keeping an eye on the Library page to see what’s new.
