Up Close and Personal with the Masters
Students from 7 Maroon and 7 Silver had the wonderful opportunity to be able to be surrounded and immersed by some special artworks as they visited the National Gallery of Victoria and in particular, the current Vincent Van Gogh exhibition, last Tuesday the 23rd of May. Learning about techniques, methods, media and the back stories involved behind some of the most spectacular paintings and drawings created by Vincent and other renowned artists took on a whole new perspective as the art works themselves and the gallery space became a living breathing classroom. We trust everyone enjoyed themselves and are sure that it was an experience that they will never forget.
