Hosting a Japanese Student

16 May 2016 by

For the first time in the history of MacKillop College we are hosting 22 students from Seishu High School, Sapporo, Japan. The students’ intended stay is for a term – Term 3 2016. This stay has many objectives including

  • an English immersion for these Japanese students
  • an opportunity to strengthen our relationship with our sister school and
  • an opportunity for cultural awareness for MacKillop College students.

A key to the programs success lies in the generosity of our college community, specifically in hosting these students for the duration of their stay. We are calling for families who are interested and can provide homestay accommodation for these students.

If this could be YOU please contact Satoko Nagaoka, International Programs Coordinator for further information. Satoko is happy to clarify your questions.
