‘Do The Right Thing’ Initiative
The EcoMacK ‘Do The Right Thing’ initiative for term 1 launched on the 18th May 2017.
EcoMacK representatives and volunteer staff ‘spotters’ are going to be looking for students displaying environmentally friendly behaviours around the school, for example putting their litter in the bin, taking and binning 3 pieces of litter (or more!) when they leave an area, turning the lights off when they leave the room, etc. and will be giving out raffle tickets at random to the people they spot doing those things.
A big thank you to Werribee Open Range Zoo who have kindly donated a Keeper for a Day school holiday experience as this term’s prize! For more information about the Keeper for a Day program head to: https://www.zoo.org.au/werribee/whats-on/keeper-for-a-day
The prize will be drawn during the whole-school assembly on the 21st of June.
