The Year 10 Japanese class of 2017 have won the Japanese Language Teacher’s Association of Victoria Video contest for 2017. The students put together a 5 minute film about the benefits of studying Japanese Language. It is creative and clever. We hope you enjoy it!

Last week, students in the MathBusters class created three dimensional cubes that can be folded and “collapsed” into a two dimensional square. They looked into the combination of shapes that allowed this and also completed some further research into the properties of three dimensional shapes and how they change as the shape is adjusted.
Menelo Maverick Menor, Year 12 student in Mr Tagliabue’s Visual Communication and Design class, was the first student at MacKillop to officially use our 3D Printers in the production of his VCE folio. On Monday the 25th of June, 16 students from 7 Green travelled to Overnewton Anglican Community School for one of the 2012 Da Vinci Decathlon Regional Finals.
